Your Trauma Healing Journey:
Lifeprint Reiki’s Guide to Reconnecting to Self‑Love
by Steve Fogelman

Discover a powerful philosophy of emotional healing and inner transformation that can lead to a more carefree lifetime of inner peace and gratitude.

Winner of a 2026 International Impact Book Award, Your Trauma Healing Journey explores the innovative principles founder and author Steve Fogelman compiled for Lifeprint Reiki to reframe and heal the emotional pains of life. The key is expanding self‑awareness to reveal and heal hidden traumas and then integrate it all into the peaceful life of your dreams.
That which worked for Steve is best presented to help you release the challenging behaviors of the survival personality that you've been unconsciously living all your life. It is the only path to finally reconnect with your authentic self and live with greater peace, confidence, and emotional freedom.
Think of this book as a human user’s manual.
Why buy this book to learn how to reconnect to self-love? Those who embrace self-love experience greater emotional well-being, stronger relationships, and a heightened sense of purpose. In contrast, those lacking self-love struggle with low self-esteem, social anxiety, easily triggered, unhealthy relationships, and difficulty reaching their full potential.
Why, then, do we get disconnected from self-love? If you haven’t already realized, you’re not a human with a soul, but a soul having a human learning experience. We’re here on earth to experience some of the most complex and challenging soul lessons in the entire universe. But without knowing how to best navigate this lifetime of learning, it’s like we’re brought into the world spiritually blindfolded and handcuffed. The trauma created by all those struggles not only disconnects us from self-love, but also leaves us without emotional intelligence to navigate through life.
Most disconnections from self-love can be traced back to childhood.
- Not having our emotions validated
- Feeling shame
- Being bullied
- Feeling abandoned
- Enduring abuse and neglect, whether horrific or seemingly benign.
These experiences traumatized us, leaving us without the ability to understand our emotions and powerless to express them in a healthy manner.
Disconnection from self-love, created our survival personality of unhealthy coping behaviors and limiting beliefs to fill the love void.
If you’re the black sheep of the family, that means you're the victim of narcissistic abuse, and left with no clue how to find the strength to create a healthier emotional environment. Family gatherings are a nightmare and breaking free of this cycle seems impossible.
Perhaps you find yourself not fitting in anywhere. Your talents aren't acknowledged nor appreciated, making you feel who you are isn't enough to be worthy of being loved. You're like a ship adrift at sea, still searching for your purpose and life meaning.
This book can also help discover the answer to the question why you can’t seem to find a life partner. Those who are chronically single and lonely are in need of a deeper Independent divine connection to clear the blockages preventing them from understanding their status.
You probably don't even realize you suffer religious trauma, but that's why thousands are deconstructing from the religious brainwashing they received as children.
The toxic religious dogma that causes trauma include:
- The concept of 'sin' is entirely manmade as a means of controlling the masses by creating guilt and shame. No one is born a sinner, but we are all born with trauma. "The Seven Deadly Sins" are all unresolved trauma responses that are nearly impossible to control.
- The concept of 'worship' is rooted in fear and an imaginary hierarchy separating us from the divine, instead of bringing us closer.
- Feeling your god doesn't love you as you are.
- Feeling like you're a 'bad' follower
- Believing you'll spend eternity in an imaginary hell
- Believing some practices are 'woo woo' or worse, evil, signifies a learned fear of the most powerful spiritual practices that would render religion obsolete.
From buying this book, you'll learn that everyone's spiritual needs are as unique as their fingerprint and how to create your own path, or Lifeprint.
Developing self-love isn’t selfish, but rather the cornerstone of a fulfilling, happy, and successful life. By cultivating the lost deep appreciation for themselves, individuals unlock a world of possibilities, becoming more resilient, confident, and empowered to pursue life passions without fear of judgment.

The Four Types of Trauma. Trauma is not just surviving war, famine or abuse. Seemingly benign behaviors cause us trauma. And a lot of the trauma we experience comes from our ancestors, transferred down through DNA.
Why Lifeprint Reiki now. A new understanding of human spirituality is needed as the incoming energy of the Age of Aquarius no longer supports religions created in the Ages of Aries and Pisces.
All about Reiki. Every human is inherently wired for energy healing. When something hurts, why do you automatically put your hands on that area?
The Lifeprint Reiki Difference. There are various forms of Reiki that support healing, but Lifeprint Reiki is only one that focuses on trauma as the source of all physical and emotional illnesses. Additionally, there's a new symbol discovered and used exclusively by Lifeprint Reiki.
Gaining Self-Awareness. The key to personal and spiritual growth is to understand the root of our behaviors and to fully accept ourselves as we are without judgment.

The 11 Insights to Happiness

These 11 powerful principles are universal human truths to guide you to emotional freedom and personal empowerment.
1. Embrace Curiosity. Humans are an intrinsically curious and creative specious but disconnection from self-love can cause us to fear creating, learning and exploring.
2. Surrender to Relieve Suffering. Most human suffering comes from trying to control what can't be controlled. Surrendering is a radical act of self-love, but is challenging to those who find it difficult to trust.
3. Release Attachments & Expectations. Attachments are only required to create families. Everything else is optional. Expectations are attachments to desired outcomes. None of this is within our control, and when not met we suffer.
4. Break Free from the Illusion of Polarity. Nothing is inherently 'good' or 'bad.' Everything is what it is. It's only our ego that makes that decision.
5. Forgiveness to Free Yourself. Forgiving others is not about condoning mistreatment or even keeping people in our lives. It's merely about releasing the guilt and shame caused by the negligent behavior.
6. Understand the Despair of Comparison. When we don't appreciate our uniqueness as our superpower, we wrongly believe the achievements of others are better than our experience.
7. Set Healthy Boundaries. Without self-love, we unconsciously allow people to walk all over us which further disconnects us.
8. Understand the Power of Loss. Loss is painful, but it's the universes way of creating opportunities for personal and spiritual growth.
9. Develop Internal Validation. We unconsciously seek external validation, but that is beyond our control and when not achieved causes suffering. Developing internal validation makes us invincible.
10. Connect with Your Ancestors. Religious trauma and the fear of death prevents us from connecting to our most powerful asset - our ancestors.
11. Embrace Nothingness. This is an advanced notion to understand that we are not our nationality nor our past and many other notion we wrongly believe to be us. Releasing all we are NOT frees the soul.
A New Reiki Symbol

In the chapter on Reiki, you'll learn about its principles and the symbols used to strengthen, the Universal Life Force Energy to heal yourself and your family.
Steve accidentally discovered a new symbol he adds to the common ones, and called it Shin Zo Ho Go, Japanese for "heart protection." Steve discovered it protects the heart center as it facilitates heart healing.
The Shin Zo Ho Go

When you feel you can no longer tolerate the despair of your everyday life, and would prefer a life with a more profound independent spiritual connection, gratitude and less anxiety, Your Trauma Healing Journey offers simple steps towards achieving that goal.
